Drug Abuse Resistance Education -to resist drugs and violence.
Grade 5 completed all the requirements of the D.A.R.E. programm and reviewed all the lessons in D.A.R.E. and were given a final assignment: to write an essay outlining what they had learned in D.A.R.E.Kids had made a commitment to stay drug free and avoid violence.
The ceremony celebrating their successful completion of the course was held in the mini gymnasium at Deep Cove Elementary School on February 6, 2008.
